“Forever Family,” an art show featuring the work of Sue Hale and benefiting the Oklahoma City Educare program currently is on exhibit at n Your Eye Gallery, in the Paseo arts district. The show runs through Dec. 2.
Hale, an Oklahoma City artist who is active in many state and local art programs, also is a long-time community volunteer. She picks a charity to benefit when she is the featured artist at In Your Eye Gallery. This year, she is teaming up with OKC Educare to showcase some art produced by OKC Educare students and her own work.
“I’ve always believed everyone should have an opportunity to express themselves with art, especially children. “Forever Family” also honors those willing to foster and adopt children,” she said.
Oklahoma City Educare opened its doors in July 2009, to serve 212 at-risk children, ages birth to 5 years old, with year-round high-quality early childhood education, social-emotional development and specialized care. Educare Schools, throughout the nation, help young children grow up safe, healthy and eager to learn, providing the highest quality outcome-based learning environments for families and their children who are at-risk for school failure.
