FOUNDATION'S 50TH

Party: Members of the St. Anthony Hospital Foundation celebrated “50 years of success,” as noted on the party invitation, at a party at the Devon Energy Center. They invited donors to celebrate the anniversary.

Party favors/flower arrangements: Miniature bottles of Champagne and chocolate truffles were party favors and bouquets of yellow calla lilies decorated the tables.

LET'S FIESTA

Dinner/shower: Beth Cook and Corey McCauley were honored at a dinner and couple's shower at Mamasita's. A taco bar was set up, complete with salsas and layered dips.

Theme: “Let's Fiesta.” Centerpieces were sunflowers and colorful monogrammed orange and hot pink napkins added to the decor.

Hosts: Cathy and Mike Cross, Kelly Daviee, Susan and Carl Edwards, Amy and Eddie Edwards, Cyndi and Jim David, Shelley and Kent Studebaker, Marilyn and Jack Henley, Debbie and Ron McCord, Leslie Kidd, Mary and J. Robert Reneau and Gwen and Jack Vollbrecht.

Gift: The hosts gave the engaged couple, who will be married in April, a William Yeoward cake stand.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BILL AND JIM

Birthday party: Bill Brown and Jim Markey were honorees at a 75th birthday party given by Mary Ann Markey, Susan Whittington, Marianne Brown and Kirsten Cash (wives and daughters of the guests of honor). The event was in the home of Kirsten and Ross Cash.

Cake/decorations: The cake had a photo of both of the honorees, and decorations included photos of them and fun facts from 1938.

Party-goers: Among the guests were Ross, Kirsten, McKenna, Tierney, Lorelei and Brecken Cash, Sherri and John Brown, Karen Brown, Barbara and Pete Brown, Mindy and Mike Brown, Rachel and Stephen Brown.

FOLLIES FRIENDS

Event: Members of the newly formed Follies Friends, an auxiliary of the Oklahoma Senior Follies, met in the Atrium of Oklahoma City University Wanda Bass School of Music.

Mission: The group helps the Follies with its goals, one of which is Mobile Meals of Oklahoma County. They plan to raise money by selling ads for the program of the upcoming Oklahoma Senior Follies, which will be June 14-16 at the Kirkpatrick Auditorium of OCU.

Decorations: Sequin and feathered headdresses used from the 2011 and 2012 Follies were displayed in the room.

Food: Follie's cast members brought homemade desserts.

Speakers: Bobbie Burbridge Lane, Carolyn Roslik and Robert A. Lawrence talked during the meeting.

Entertainment: Stars from the Follies' cast entertained, including Jay Edwards, Terry Runnels, Jim Henline, Kerry Robertson, Charlotte Franklin, Jane Hall, Paul Coulter, Victor Wong, David Anderson. They were accompanied by Lou Ann Rice.

WINTER SOCIAL

Occasion: The Kiwanis Club of Oklahoma City met in the home of Margaret and Art Hoge for the Winter Social. Members brought potluck dishes. Kraettli Epperson is president of the group.
